NeNe Chicken

Previous blog entries shows how much I love Fried chicken. My all time fave is the Pinoy style with fresh chicken pieces just seasoned with salt and deep fried in coconut oil. Just like that. Very delicious.

I was reading my twitter feed last month  when I came across a tweet by someone who is an authority to Melbourne Foodie scene. He mentioned that a new wing is now open in a Shopping Centre close to where we live. He mentioned that there are new Japanese, Chinese and Korean food places to try. That following weekend Rich and I went there. We tried the Japanese restaurant and had some ramen. It was delicious but not enough for us to want to go back again.

I was eyeing the Korean chicken place next to it. The following weekend we went there early and boy oh boy. Their chicken is so good.

Nene Chicken. It means Yes yes Chicken. :-)

Pardon my French but this is called FREAKIN' HOT it is indeed. Not for me but for my Rich who does not mind a chili or ten :-)

Nene chicken has the best coleslaw and radish salad! I always order extra radish. Ironic because when I was younger I really hated radish more than any veggie. Now I get cranky when they ran out like last visit.




Their fries are just perfect the countless times we went there...

This is my fave of them all : SWICY - sweet and spicy

 

Rich wants to work through the menu but I stick to my swicy - this is his again called SNOWIN' VEGETABLES, dunno why. Just is.

 

 

 

Normally I like GARLIC but not as much as Swicy :-)
